Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterized by impaired levels of attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Adult ADHD causes significant functional impairment in domains of employment,education, and economic and social functioning.

Note: Other psychological treatments may also be effective in treating adult ADHD, but they have not been evaluated with the same scientific rigor as the treatments above. Many medications may also be helpful for adult ADHD, but we do not cover medications in this website.
