The Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Inc. is a large, multidisciplinary group practice with offices in Upper Arlington/Dublin, Ohio and Gahanna, Ohio. New referrals are always accepted, and the treatment models employed include cognitive therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and applied behavior analysis. CCBT accepts patients from children over the age of 3 through older adults. CCBT uses research supported treatments to serve clients with depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, anger, OCD,PTSD, habit disorders, medically-related psychological problems, school problems, and disruptive habits. Specialized populations for whom services are available include those who are LGBT, couples, military personnel or veterans, children with ADHD and other behavior problems, children and adolescents with ASD, children and adults with development or intellectual disabilities, and parents of children with aggressive or oppositional children. Also, behaviorally-oreinted treatments for substance abuse and addictions are available as an outpatient service.
Dr. Arnold, the Director, is a well-known cognitive-behavioral psychologist and applied behavior analyst. He has served as the head of several national groups focusing on specialization in psychology, and is the current president of the Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology Specialty Council.
CCBT works with a patient’s PCP by informing the PCP that the patient has been seen, and providing progress reports if a patient signs an authorization to coordinate with the medial home. CCBT takes all major insurance carriers in Central Ohio, and the major EAPs as well.
